CMMC Level 2 Gap Analysis Consultant

The team works closely with clients to design secure, efficient, and future-ready infrastructures that meet evolving regulatory and operational requirements.Role Description The CMMC Level 2 Gap Analysis Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for assessing client environments against CMMC Level 2 requirements, identifying control gaps, and developing practical remediation plans. Day-to-day activities include reviewing existing policies and procedures, analyzing technical and process controls, conducting stakeholder interviews, and mapping current practices to CMMC domains. The consultant will prepare clear assessment reports, present findings to client leadership, and collaborate with internal and client teams to prioritize and track remediation activities. The role also involves advising on best practices for secure cloud adoption, supporting readiness for formal CMMC assessments, and staying updated on regulatory and cybersecurity standards relevant to defense and government contractors.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills to assess controls, interpret complex requirements, and identify gaps in compliance.Effective Communication and Consulting skills to engage stakeholders, explain CMMC requirements, and present findings and recommendations clearly.Knowledge of Finance and Financial Analysis to understand cost implications of remediation efforts and support budgeting for compliance initiatives.Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-171, ISO 27001) and familiarity with CMMC Level 2 practices and processes.Background in cloud computing or IT infrastructure, with the ability to evaluate technical controls in cloud and hybrid environments.Proven experience in risk assessment, compliance, or audit roles, preferably within regulated or defense-related industries.Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
