قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob SummaryThe Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing the company’s purchasing activities, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company policies and requirements. The role involves supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and review purchase requests from different departments.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability.Request and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.Verify that received items comply with the approved specifications and purchase orders.Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, quotations, and purchase orders.Monitor supplier performance and address any purchasing or delivery issues.Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and service providers.Search for alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.Prepare purchasing reports and provide regular updates to management.Monitor outstanding purchase orders and ensure timely closure.Assist in evaluating and negotiating supplier contracts when required.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.Good knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier management.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to compare quotations and evaluate suppliers effectively.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP or procurement systems is preferred.Good command of English, both written and spoken.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of local suppliers and the Saudi market is an advantage.Key CompetenciesNegotiation SkillsSupplier ManagementCommunication SkillsAnalytical ThinkingCost AwarenessProblem SolvingTime ManagementAttention to DetailTeamworkDecision MakingIntegrity and Confidentiality
