This position is responsible for providing accurate and timely translation and interpretation between Mandarin and Indonesian/English for meetings, site communications, technical documents, contracts, reports, and internal correspondence. The translator will support project teams, management, and visiting delegations by facilitating clear communication during daily operations, coordination meetings, and stakeholder engagements.Typical tasks include translating written materials, interpreting during on-site inspections and briefings, ensuring terminology consistency (especially construction and engineering terms), and helping prevent misunderstandings that could affect project timelines or safety. The role may also involve preparing bilingual documentation, assisting with cross-cultural communication, and collaborating closely with administrative, engineering, and project management staff.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) HSK 4 - 6 and fluent communication skills in Indonesian and/or English, with the ability to translate and interpret accurately in both directions.Demonstrated experience in translation or interpretation, preferably in construction, engineering, or related technical fields, including familiarity with relevant terminology.Excellent listening, note-taking, and communication skills, with attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.Ability to work on-site in Kecamatan Cikarang Selatan, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and adapt to fast-paced project environments and changing priorities.Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple translation tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Proficiency in common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and basic document formatting for bilingual materials.Relevant educational background such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in languages, translation, communication, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience in multinational or cross-cultural work settings and familiarity with Indonesian construction
