The firm’s approach is practical, independent, and solution-oriented, with strong commitments to professional ethics, confidentiality, and clear legal advice.Role Description The өмгөөлөгчийн туслах (lawyer’s assistant / legal assistant) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ulaanbaatar Hot, Mongolia. The role involves supporting lawyers with legal research, drafting and formatting legal documents, organizing case files, and preparing materials for client meetings, negotiations, and court hearings. The assistant will help with translation and interpretation between Mongolian and other working languages where relevant, maintain accurate records and documentation, and coordinate schedules, deadlines, and task follow-ups. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with clients and external stakeholders under lawyer supervision, gathering and organizing evidence and information, and ensuring that all work complies with internal procedures and professional ethical standards. The role also includes administrative support for the firm’s operations, such as document management, filing, and basic office coordination.Qualifications Strong legal research and writing skills, including the ability to analyze laws, regulations, and court decisions and summarize findings clearly.Experience drafting, reviewing, and formatting legal documents such as contracts, letters, memoranda, and court submissions.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in handling case files, records, and deadlines.Effective communication skills, including professional client communication, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.Proficiency in Mongolian; working knowledge of English and/or Chinese is highly beneficial for cross-border matters.High ethical standards, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.Comfort with office software and document management tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, and digital filing systems).Bachelor’s degree in law or a closely related field, or ongoing legal studies; prior experience in a law firm or legal setting is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Ulaanbaatar, adapt to a fast
