Role Description The (Executive Facilities Manager) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Umluj, responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of hotel/Buildings facilities across. Day-to-day tasks include managing facility maintenance schedules, coordinating with technical and housekeeping teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supervising contractors and service providers. The role involves monitoring building systems (such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing), optimizing energy use, and handling preventive and corrective maintenance plans. The Executive Facilities Manager will also develop and implement facilities policies, manage budgets for maintenance and repairs, and collaborate with hotel management to support guest comfort and operational reliability.QualificationsStrong facilities management skills, including planning, organizing, and supervising maintenance and operations.Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety and security systems) and basic engineering concepts.Experience managing vendors and contractors, including negotiating service agreements and monitoring performance.Ability to develop and manage budgets, control costs, and prioritize maintenance projects based on operational needs.Solid understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements relevant to hospitality facilities.Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and shift schedules.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to issues.Good communication skills in Arabic; proficiency in English is an advantage.Previous experience in hotel or hospitality facilities management is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
