GIS GeologistRiyadh, Saudi Arabia | Full-timeWe are hiring a GIS Geologist to build and manage the spatial database for our gold exploration projects in Saudi Arabia. You will be the main owner of GIS within the exploration team, turning field, drilling and geochemical data into clear maps and models that drive exploration decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild the company’s GIS database from scratch, including structure, standards and data validationIntegrate and manage geological, geochemical, geophysical, drilling and survey dataProduce geological maps, sampling plans, drill-hole location maps and technical layoutsWork with Micromine and Leapfrog for 3D modelling and data visualizationProcess satellite imagery and remote sensing data for target generationSupport field teams with GPS data collection and QA/QC of spatial dataPrepare maps and spatial outputs for management and regulatory reportsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Geology, Geomatics, GIS or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of GIS experience, with at least 3 years in mining or mineral explorationAdvanced ArcGIS skills (ArcGIS Pro / ArcMap); QGIS is a plusHands-on experience with Micromine and/or LeapfrogProven experience designing and building a GIS databaseStrong understanding of geological data such as drilling, assays and structural dataFluent EnglishWilling to travel to project sites
