You will be compensated for one full day of work without doing the work per week!JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled CNC Leadman Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components while ensuring the highest quality standards are met.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Our client is seeking a strong leader, who is hands-on, technical skilled, and has a positive attitude. This candidate should bring technical subject matter expertise with an affinity to bring highly technical leadership using industry cutting edge technology.WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Operate CNC lathes and Swiss machines. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and CAD files. • Program Nakamura/Fanuc controls a plus • Set up and/or operation of CNC multifunction Lathe twin spindle and twin or triple turret lathes (programming a plus) (mostly Nakamura). Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accurate measurements and tolerances. • Conduct inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:All candidates must have:• Proficient in basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.• Experience with CAD software is preferred for programming purposes.• Familiarity with Mazatrol programming is a plus.• Knowledge of GD&T principles is essential for quality assurance.• Previous experience operating lathes and other CNC machinery is required.• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.• SETUP OR PROGAMING: 3 years (Required)THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:• Experience in Aerospace shop and a wide variety of gauges a plus.• Candidates who previously have worked as a foreman or lead person a plus.• We are excited to interview candidates with experience on Twin spindle, Twin turret machines, using live tooling and Fanuc controls as well as any experience on mills or swiss machines a plus.• We are seeking an "outside the box" thinker who enjoys problem solving & working with others to achieve goals.GENERALIZED COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Company offers competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement and paid holidays.ABOUT US: Our client has grown into a highly decorated, 100% woman-owned enterprise (WBENC certified) known for its "can-do" culture and engineering expertise.
