Job Summary: Join our collaborative manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist Level 2, where your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality precision parts. We foster a culture of safety, innovation, and mutual respect, encouraging all team members to grow and succeed together.Responsibilities: Some Program, set up, and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders using G-code/M-code programming. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks and CAM programming tools to develop machining strategies. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement tools for quality control. Conduct machine setup including tooling selection, fixture installation, and calibration to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, machine operation, or programming errors; perform manual machining when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret GD&T specifications for precise manufacturing. Assist in training junior machinists and operators on advanced machining techniques and equipment operation. Support continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes for efficiency and waste reduction.Qualifications: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with moderate to advanced knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup. Strong background in metal machining. Skilled in blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, GD&T standards, and precision measurement instruments including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and CMMs. Familiarity with manual machining techniques using hand tools, power tools, lathes, mills, grinders, and welding equipment. Knowledge of M-code programming for CNC operations along with basic math skills relevant to manufacturing tolerances. Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
