It is a stable, well-run operation that values safety, quality and continuous improvement.About the RoleWe are hiring a CNC Machinist III to be a senior, self-directed machinist in a high-mix/low-volume shop. You will program, set up and run CNC mills, lathes and wire EDM, design fixtures, inspect your own work and help train other machinists. You will report to the Production Supervisor.What You'll DoSet up and run CNC and manual equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders and wire EDM.Write and edit CNC programs for mills, lathes and wire EDM using CAM software, and document every new program and change.Design fixtures to machine parts efficiently.Inspect parts and assemblies with precision measuring tools.Write setup and inspection procedures; plan and kit machining jobs.Help maintain the parts Kanban in the shop and on the factory floor.Record your work in the CMMS system.Support continuous improvement and new product development projects.Mentor and train other CNC machinists.Follow all safety (EHS) policies and take part in safety programs.What You Bring (Required)Skilled CNC machinist who can work independently in a self-directed shop.Reads and interprets drawings, specifications and standards, including tolerancing and GD&T.Solid problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.High school diploma or GED.Able to work overtime and weekends when needed.Nice to Have7+ years in a high-mix/low-volume machine shop.Experience on HAAS CNC mills and lathes.Wire EDM experience, ideally GF / Agie Charmilles.Experience on 4+ axis machines.Programming in Mastercam and/or ESPRIT.NIMS Level II certification.Associate's degree (AAS) or a relevant machining certification.Compensation & Benefits$70,000 – $85,000 base salary, depending on experience.May be eligible for a performance-based bonus.Health insurance, 401(k) with company match and paid time off.LocationFull time, on-site in Denver, CO.Why This RoleThis is a hands-on senior role for a machinist who likes variety: you will program and run a wide mix of work, design your own fixtures, and help build up the next generation of machinists.Apply today.
