We combine creative thinking, technical precision and industrial production expertise to deliver durable, high-standard solutions for corporate, commercial and infrastructure environments.CNC TECHNICAL LEADiPrint Namibia is looking for an experienced, hands-on CNC Technical Lead to take ownership of our CNC production and technical fabrication function.This is not simply a CNC Operator position. We are looking for someone who can operate, lead, troubleshoot, supervise and take accountability for the technical execution of jobs from approved specification through production and handover.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead and coordinate CNC production activities• Interpret drawings, artwork, dimensions and technical job specifications• Prepare and verify CNC files, toolpaths and machine settings• Set up and operate CNC routers and related production equipment• Guide and supervise CNC Operators and junior technical staff• Ensure correct materials, tooling, feeds, speeds and cutting methods are used• Oversee fabrication of signage, 3D letters, ACM signs, acrylic signage, structures and custom branding elements• Monitor quality, measurements, finishing and workmanship• Reduce material wastage, incorrect cuts, rework and production errors• Troubleshoot CNC machinery and technical production problems• Coordinate routine machine maintenance and technical care• Train and develop CNC Operators and technical team members• Enforce workshop safety, machine safety and good housekeeping• Work closely with Operations, Workshop, Design, Sales and Installation teams• Ensure completed work is technically correct and ready for the next production stage or installationREQUIREMENTSMinimum 3 years practical CNC machining, fabrication or related production experienceAbility to supervise, train and lead a technical production teamStrong problem-solving and practical fabrication skills• Strong CNC router operating and setup experience• Experience with CAD/CAM, CNC programming and toolpath preparation• Ability to interpret technical drawings, measurements and fabrication specifications• Strong understanding of materials such as acrylic, ACM, aluminium, Steel, PVC, MDF, wood • Good understanding of CNC tooling, cutting methods, speeds and feeds• Machine troubleshooting and basic maintenance knowledge• Strong quality-control mindset• Strong problem-solving and practical fabrication skills• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlinesHIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS• Previous experience in the signage, branding or visual communications industry• Experience manufacturing 3D letters, illuminated signs, channel letters, signboards and custom fabricated structures• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining, Manufacturing, Fitting & Turning, Mechatronics, CAD/CAM or a related technical field• Experience supervising CNC Operators or fabrication teamsWE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:Takes ownership.Pays attention to detail.Solves problems instead of passing them on.Protects material and reduces waste.Maintains high production standards.Leads by example.Understands that quality, safety and deadlines matter.If you are technically strong, hands-on and ready to lead CNC production in a fast-moving signage and branding environment, we would like to hear from you.HOW TO APPLYSend your CV together with a short cover letter outlining your CNC and fabrication experience to:Email: iprintrecruit@gmail.comClosing Date: 20 September 2026Please use “CNC Technical Lead” as the subject of your application.iPrint NamibiaPrinting • Branding • Signage • Fabrication
