We’re looking for a Co-founder & Chief Scientist — Speech, Video & Generative AIFrameX AI Studio | San Francisco Bay AreaWe are building the intelligence layer for the next generation of global video localization.FrameX AI Studio uses AI to transform existing video content into multiple languages while preserving what makes the original performance feel human: the speaker’s voice, emotion, timing, identity, and lip synchronization.The opportunity is much bigger than translation.Movies, OTT content, micro-dramas, creator videos, advertising, education, and enterprise content increasingly need to reach global audiences quickly. Traditional dubbing is expensive, slow, and difficult to scale. We believe AI can fundamentally change that workflow.We already have a working end-to-end product, active customer conversations, and a clear path toward building deeper proprietary technology across speech and video.FrameX has also been selected for NVIDIA Inception.Now we are looking for an exceptional AI researcher and builder to join us as Co-founder & Chief Scientist.This is not an early employee role.You will help define the technical foundation and long-term moat of the company.What you’ll own

• Define the research and model strategy across speech, audio, video, and multimodal AI.
• Lead our evolution from intelligently orchestrating best-in-class models toward building and fine-tuning proprietary models across the localization pipeline.
• Develop and improve capabilities across TTS, voice cloning and conversion, ASR, multilingual speech, speech-to-speech systems, lip synchronization, facial animation, and generative video.
• Build the evaluation framework for production quality, including lip-sync accuracy, isochrony, speaker similarity, naturalness, intelligibility, emotion preservation, and cross-language consistency.
• Identify where proprietary models create meaningful technical differentiation and defensibility for FrameX.
• Build the research roadmap and, over time, recruit and lead a world-class applied AI research team.
• Represent FrameX technically with investors, enterprise customers, strategic partners, and the broader AI ecosystem alongside the founding team.Who we’re looking forWe care much more about what you have built than about titles.You may be a strong fit if:
• You have personally trained or fine-tuned production-quality or publication-quality models in TTS, voice conversion, ASR, speech-to-speech, lip sync, video generation, or related multimodal AI.
• You have deep hands-on experience with modern speech, audio, video, or generative AI systems.
• You have published research at venues such as Interspeech, ICASSP, ACL, CVPR, or comparable conferences, or you have shipped meaningful AI models and systems in industry.
• You understand the difference between a compelling research demo and a model that can reliably serve real customers at scale.
• You have approximately 5+ years of meaningful research or industry experience after your degree.
