Company Description Al Qalam AI Solutions is an Abu Dhabi–based artificial intelligence company focused on intelligent automation for UAE government and enterprise workflows. The company specializes in document intelligence, including OCR and data extraction tailored for bilingual Arabic–English government documents, alongside workflow automation for service centers and large organizations. Its AI systems are designed to align with UAE regulatory requirements, leveraging 20 years of hands-on experience in government services through Al Qalam Typing & Services in Sharjah. This deep local expertise spans trade licensing, immigration, municipal services, and legal documentation, complemented by licensed activities in IT consultancy, AI research, tax consultancy, cybersecurity, marketing advisory, and e-commerce.Role Description The Co-Founder role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves shaping the company’s strategic direction, co-owning product vision for AI and automation solutions, and driving growth across government and enterprise segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying market opportunities, leading sales and partnership conversations, and collaborating on marketing initiatives to position Al Qalam AI Solutions as a trusted local AI partner. The Co-Founder will work closely with technical and operations teams to refine offerings, oversee implementation for key clients, and ensure alignment with UAE regulatory and compliance requirements. The role also includes participating in fundraising discussions, guiding business planning, and representing the company in industry events and stakeholder meetings.Qualifications Strong analytical skills and research capabilities to understand complex government workflows, market needs, and competitive landscapes.Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, presenting solutions, and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.Proven sales skills to develop relationships, close deals with government and enterprise clients, and manage key accounts.Marketing experience to help shape go-to-market strategies, craft value propositions, and support brand positioning in the UAE AI ecosystem.Experience in or strong familiarity with UAE government services, public sector processes, or regulated industries is highly beneficial.Background in business, technology, or related fields; prior startup or founding experience is an advantage.Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of outcomes, and collaborate on long-term strategic initiatives.Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong plus for working with bilingual documentation and local stakeholders.
