Domus is building the collaborative platform for UK property development.Today, developers, lenders and housing associations still rely on disconnected spreadsheets, static reports and multiple software platforms to assess sites, secure funding and manage viability. Every deal involves different versions of the same numbers, with no shared source of truth.Domus brings appraisal, cashflow modelling, sensitivity analysis, planning intelligence and lender collaboration into a single platform, creating one live source of truth from site acquisition through to funding.The opportunity: The product is no longer an idea. We have a live working prototype currently in active trials with private developers, housing associations and a development lender. We're now raising a pre-seed round (SEIS Advance Assurance in place) to complete the commercial platform and launch.I'm looking for a Technical Co-Founder to lead the engineering direction of the business.This isn't a CTO job in an established company, it's a genuine co-founder role with meaningful equity and responsibility from day one. You'll own the technical vision, architecture, infrastructure, security and product delivery, helping turn a validated prototype into a scalable, enterprise-ready SaaS platform. Ideally you'll have experience within real estate or PropTech and be comfortable or have experience working at a startup. The next phase focuses on scalability, production infrastructure, security hardening, GDPR compliance, API integrations and enterprise readiness.Job Description: Define and own the long-term technical architecture.Lead engineering strategy and product delivery.Build and scale a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform.Own AWS infrastructure, deployment and operational reliability.Develop APIs and integrations with lenders, data providers and third-party platforms.Work closely with customers to shape the product roadmap.Help build the engineering team as the company grows.What we're looking for: Proven experience building and shipping production SaaS products.Strong full-stack engineering skills.Experience designing scalable cloud architecture on AWS.A solid understanding of security, multi-tenancy and GDPR compliance.Experience with API design and third-party integrations.Previous startup, founder or early-stage experience is highly desirable.Experience in PropTech, real estate technology or fintech is a significant advantage but not essential.More important than any specific technology is the mindset to build a company from the ground up alongside a founder who has lived the problem firsthand.What you'll receive: Genuine co-founder status.Meaningful equity ownership.Full autonomy over technology and engineering decisions.Remote-first working within the UK, with occasional in-person collaboration.No salary until the funding round closes, after which you'll lead the technical function as the business scales.If you're looking for an opportunity to build a category-defining SaaS platform from the earliest stages and want to shape both the technology and the company itself, I'd love to hear from you.
