Role OverviewAs the Creative Co-Founder and design lead, you will take full ownership of the firm’s aesthetic direction, portfolio development, and creative output. Stepping into an established practice that is actively scaling, you will inherit an existing clientele and operational framework. Your mission is to elevate our design signature, lead the studio team, and serve as the primary artistic visionary for all future projects.Key ResponsibilitiesTransitioning & Elevating Design LeadershipAesthetic Stewardship: Absorb the firm’s historical design identity and intentionally evolve it into a market-leading premium brand.Creative Sovereignty: Take final accountability for all design concepts, spatial planning, material selections, and artistic details across the firm's portfolio.Presentation Ownership: Lead all high-stakes client pitches and design reveals, using strong storytelling to gain client trust and secure project approvals.Studio Management & Quality ControlTeam Leadership: Manage, mentor, and expand the existing design team, establishing clear design review workflows and drafting standards.Execution Oversight: Conduct critical site visits during key construction phases to ensure contractors and artisans flawlessly execute the approved design intent.Portfolio & Media Curation: Direct professional photoshoots of completed spaces and collaborate with PR to position the firm for design awards and editorial features.Strategic SourcingCuration & Customization: Deepen the firm’s library of unique materials, bespoke furniture makers, and fine artists to offer clients unparalleled customization.Qualifications & SkillsDesign Prestige: 15+ years of experience leading high-end design projects, backed by a sophisticated, publication-ready portfolio.Leadership Transition Experience: Proven ability to step into an existing system, earn the trust of an established team, and smoothly transition client relationships to yourself.Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to articulate complex design philosophies to clients, media, and builders alike.The "Founder" Gene: A rare mix of uncompromising artistic standards and business pragmatism, understanding how design choices impact project profitability.
