Humanus is built around consent and intention, ensuring that every participant chooses to be there and no one feels they are “bothering” someone by reaching out.Role Description This is a full-time, remote Co-founder role for a product-focused individual with a strong developer background. The Co-founder will lead technical architecture and development, collaborate on product vision and roadmap, and build core features of the Humanus platform from version 2 through scaling. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing backend and frontend components, setting engineering standards, integrating payments and communication tools, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security. The role also involves close collaboration with other founders on strategy, user research, go-to-market experiments, and iterating product features based on user feedback. The Co-founder will help shape company culture, mentor future team members, and contribute to fundraising and investor discussions as the company grows.QualificationsStrong analytical skills to interpret user data, evaluate product performance, and make evidence-based decisions.Clear and empathetic communication skills for collaborating with co-founders, early users, and future team members.Sales-related skills to support founder-led outreach, user acquisition, and partnership discussions.Marketing capabilities to contribute to positioning, messaging, and growth experiments for a marketplace product.Research skills to conduct user interviews, test hypotheses, and explore market dynamics in the advice and mentorship space.Proven experience in full-stack or backend development, including designing scalable architectures and APIs.Comfort with early-stage startup environments, including ambiguity, rapid iteration, and hands-on ownership of multiple domains.Experience building marketplace, social, or communication products is highly beneficial.Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, with strong time management and accountability.Alignment with Humanus’s mission of enabling meaningful, consent-based human connection and knowledge sharing.
