Co-founder for startup: Quantum Engineer

Company Description At DiQuNET, we are disrupting the control architecture of quantum processors by developing the IC-based control electronics for quantum processors. That is, the Distributed Quantum control NETwork (DiQuNET) of ICs to control a quantum processor for the computation of a specific quantum algorithm.Role Description As a Co-founder and Quantum Engineer, you will play a central role as a technical co-founder in building a new startup by contributing with your experimental knowledge in the field of quantum computation: unitary transformations to physical signals.QualificationsPhD in Quantum Experimental Physics (on-going or about to finish)Quantum Engineering --trapped ion-- expertise (experimental physics)Proven knowledge of gate-based quantum computation.Good to have: Theoretical knowledge of quantum algorithms and their compilation and transpilation into gates.Communication skills, team player, adaptive thinkingEntrepreneurial interestBased in Innsbruck, AT or Munich, DEFluency in English.
