Co-Founder (M&A and Corporate Development)

Company Description: Talos is building a roll-up platform to address Europe’s highly fragmented services sector by combining long-term ownership with proprietary AI solutions. The company focuses on aggregating and scaling service businesses to unlock operational efficiencies and sustainable growth. Talos aims to create a modern infrastructure layer that improves how services are discovered, delivered, and managed across European markets.Role Description: The Co-Founder (M&A and Corporate Development) will lead sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions and strategic partnerships to scale Talos’s platform across Europe. This is a full-time role and you will be working closely with other co-founders to shape the company’s long-term trajectory.You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, including:Fundraising - building and managing relationships with VCs, PE, search funds, and family offices across Europe and beyond to raise acquisition capitalDeveloping and executing the acquisition strategy alongside the other co-foundersBuilding and maintaining relationships with founders, advisers and intermediariesLeading deal origination, evaluation, negotiation and executionManaging financial, commercial and operational due diligenceWorking closely with integration teams to ensure successful post-deal deliveryDevising and executing value creation strategies post acquisitionWe are looking for individuals who are likely to bring:4-6 years of proven Corporate Development, M&A or Lead Advisory experience in Business Services - B2B services, tech-enabled services, or adjacent verticals in European markets.A track record of leading transactions from origination through to completionStrong commercial judgement and financial modelling capabilityExperience building relationships with business owners and advisersExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board levelAbility to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and to take ownership of projects from concept to execution.Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage company building — this is a co-founder role, not a fund hireTrack record of working in or with technology-driven businesses; exposure to AI-enabled products or platforms is beneficial but not mandatoryFluency in English; proficiency in French or other European languages is an advantage.What makes this different:Most PE roles optimise for the next fund.
