CO-FOUNDER / PARTNER — QUANTITATIVE TRADINGRemote | Global | Toronto, New York & Abu DhabiA newly launching quantitative trading fund is looking for a Co-Founder / Partner to take ownership of a live trading book and help build the fund from the ground up.This is not a research-only role.You will own an AUM sleeve and lead a trading pod, with responsibility for strategy development, live positions, execution, risk and P&L. You’ll have the autonomy to make trading decisions while working alongside an experienced founding team to scale the broader platform.What you’ll be responsible forOwn a live trading sleeve and its P&LLead a pod from research → strategy design → deployment → execution → risk managementMake decisions around sizing, parameters, overrides and de-riskingDevelop and deploy systematic/quantitative trading strategiesWork closely with engineering to bring strategies into productionRecruit and help build additional trading podsContribute to shared infrastructure, risk systems and investment processesSupport investor diligence and capital formation as the platform growsCommunicate trading decisions, performance and drawdowns clearly to senior stakeholdersKey requirementsWe are looking for a trader first and a quant second.Proven experience personally owning live trading positions, drawdowns and P&LA track record of deployable, live trading strategiesStrong background in quantitative trading / systematic strategiesStrong mathematics, statistics, quantitative research and/or ML foundationsDeep understanding of trading systems, execution and risk controlsAbility to work effectively with engineering teams to deploy strategiesStrong traditional financial markets background is highly desirableDigital assets experience is valuableExisting strategy IP / research that can be deployed is a strong advantageComfortable making independent trading decisions and taking accountability for outcomesStrong communication skills — able to explain performance, risk and drawdowns clearlyAI-native approach to research and trading, including practical use of LLMs, agents and modern research toolsEntrepreneurial mindset and willingness to help build the fund beyond your own bookPrior experience helping build or scale a fund is advantageousThis is a genuine partner-level opportunity with significant autonomy and economics tied directly to performance.
