Our platform runs the research loop end to end, from literature review and scientific reasoning to hypothesis generation, experiment design, computational execution, and analysis, and delivers reproducible papers and artifacts.We're headquartered in Singapore and are now establishing our U.S. entity. You'd be joining a company with a working product and paying customers, and leading what it becomes in the U.S.The roleWe're looking for a U.S. Co-Founder to lead Zeteon in the United States.This is a product and research role first, not a business development position. Most of your time goes into building: deciding what our research agent should do, running it on real scientific problems, and making it measurably better. You'll also own the U.S. market, including the relationships with labs and universities that tell us what to build next.Expect roughly 70% product and research, 30% U.S. market and partnerships.What you'll doProduct & research- Own the product direction of our research agent alongside the founding team- Design, build, and evaluate agent workflows for high-value scientific use cases- Run computational experiments on real research problems and turn what you learn into product improvements- Define how we measure quality: benchmarks and evaluations for scientific reasoning, experiment design, and reproducibility- Work hands-on with our engineering and research team to ship- Turn researcher feedback into a clear product and research roadmapU.S. market- Lead Zeteon's U.S. presence and growth- Recruit professors, postdocs, and research labs as design partners and early users- Build partnerships with universities, research institutions, and AI for Science communities- Represent Zeteon at research conferences and AI events- Hire our U.S. team and help shape company strategyWho you are- PhD in computer science, AI/ML, engineering, or a quantitative science such as computational chemistry, physics, or biology, completed or in your final year- Strong technical depth: you've built ML systems, research software, or agents, not only written papers- Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, or scientific computing- Research taste: you know which scientific problems matter and what good evidence looks like- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, since you'll work closely with our team every day- A clear communicator, equally comfortable in a lab meeting and a product review- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the San Francisco Bay Area or Boston/Cambridge- You want founder-level ownership, with the leverage of a team that's already in placeNice to have- Publications at ML or AI for Science venues- Depth in a scientific domain such as biology, chemistry, materials, or physics- Startup or open-source experienceWhy Zeteon- Founder-level ownership without starting from scratch: a 30-person team, a live product, and revenue behind you- Real influence over what an AI for Science platform builds, and how we measure whether it works- Lead the U.S. from day one and build the team around you- $150K–$300K base salary, depending on experience and scope, plus meaningful co-founder equityIf you want to go beyond publishing papers — to build the infrastructure for scientific discovery and lead it in the U.S. — we'd love to hear from you.How to applySend your CV to service@zeteon.ai with the subject line "U.S. Co-Founder".
