Job Title: COBOL Developer

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid- 4 Days onsite in week) Contract role Job Summary:We are looking for a COBOL Developer responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications running on mainframe systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs and applications.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Write, test, debug, and modify COBOL code.
• Work with JCL, DB2, CICS, and other mainframe technologies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
• Perform unit testing and assist with system/integration testing.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Work with business analysts, testers, and other development teams.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of COBOL programming.
• Experience with JCL and mainframe environments.
• Knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Basic understanding of CICS.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with SDLC and production support is an advantage. Experience: 8–10 years of relevant COBOL/Mainframe experience.
