The Coding program is a full product — curriculum, live classes, a practice and assessment platform, placement and benchmark tests, and the technology that ties them together. We are hiring a single owner to run it end to end.In a world where AI has commoditized ordinary tutoring, no parent will pay for content a chatbot can generate for free. What they will pay for is a program that produces measurably better young coders, gives their child real projects and public achievements to show for it, and proves the outcome. This role owns that promise for Coding. You are not a curriculum author and you are not only an engineer. You own the Coding program the way a General Manager owns a product: its pedagogy, its technology, its learning outcomes, and the visible social proof — hackathons, showcases, and public forums — that makes families choose and stay with us.What You Will Own1. Pedagogy & Curriculum Innovation
- Own the pedagogical philosophy of the Coding program and defend it — how children actually learn to code, project by project, level by level.
- Keep the curriculum ahead of the market: modern languages and tools, age-appropriate progression, and AI-era skills (prompt literacy, building with AI, reviewing AI-generated code) that most competitors don't yet teach.
- Run a continuous improvement loop rather than a static library: measure where students stall or disengage, change the content, method, or assessment, and prove it moved the outcome.2. Product & Technology Ownership
- Own the Coding learning platform end to end — practice environment, assessments, placement and benchmark tests, dashboards — as the product owner who defines the roadmap and prioritizes what gets built.
- Lead the technology implementation with engineering: write requirements, manage the backlog, ship features, and hold quality. You are accountable for what the platform does, not just what the curriculum says.
- Design the AI-native layer of the product: adaptive learning paths, an AI practice companion / coding tutor between live classes, automated code review and feedback, and a teacher copilot that flags struggling students early.3. Learning Outcomes & Measurement
- Define what mastery means at each level and measure it — placement accuracy, pre/post assessment gains, on-time progression, project completion.
- Instrument the program so success is provable to parents, not asserted: outcome dashboards that make each child's progress visible.
- Own the leading indicators (engagement, mastery, satisfaction) that drive the lagging business outcomes (retention, renewals, referrals).4. Social Proof, Events & CommunityIn a post-AI market, visible achievement is the moat. This role builds the flywheel of public proof for Coding:
- Design and run flagship events — hackathons, coding showcases, demo days, and public forums where students ship and present real projects.
- Turn student work into portfolios, certificates, competition results, and shareable moments that parents are proud to post.
- Build a community and calendar of events that generates a steady stream of stories, testimonials, and referrals — working with Marketing to amplify them.5. Team & Delivery Enablement
- Enable the teaching team: make the resources genuinely usable in a live class and train teachers on the method.
- Coordinate closely with the India-based delivery team so the content-to-classroom loop is tight and fast.Success Scorecard (KRAs & KPIs)The role is accountable across four result areas. If a quarter passes and none of these moved, the program was maintained, not led. Result Area (KRA) How success is measured (KPIs) Learning Outcomes Placement accuracy · pre/post assessment gains per level · mastery rate · on-time level progression · project completion rate Product & Platform Feature roadmap delivered on time · platform adoption/usage rate · assessment & practice engagement · defect / issue rate per class Social Proof & Events # of hackathons / showcases / forums run · # students participating & shipping projects · testimonials, certificates & competition wins generated · referral rate driven Business Impact (shared) Program retention & renewal by cohort · student & parent NPS/CSAT for Coding · course completion · contribution to new enrollments Who You AreRequired
- Strong software / computer-science background — you can hold a credible technical conversation with engineers and evaluate what students build.
- Proven product ownership: you have owned a product or platform roadmap and shipped, not just written specs.
- Experience in education, edtech, curriculum, or teaching children to code — and genuine care for how kids learn.
- Data-driven: comfortable defining metrics and using them to drive decisions.
- A builder-operator who can also run events and rally a community — equal parts product, pedagogy, and showmanship.Preferred
- Experience running hackathons, coding competitions, or student showcases.
- Hands-on with AI/LLM tools and a point of view on how they change how coding is taught and learned.
- Exposure to the US K-12 market and what American parents value.MindsetYou believe the job is not to publish content but to produce provably better young coders and give them a stage to prove it. You treat AI as leverage — letting it own scale and personalization while your humans own motivation, accountability, and the live experience.
