VACANCY: COFFEE MACHINE TECHNICIAN Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Technical & Service Reports To: Technical Manager / Operations ManagerABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Coffee Machine Technician to join our technical service team in Dubai.The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and servicing of commercial and automatic coffee machines, professional coffee grinders, and related beverage equipment.This is a hands-on technical position requiring strong electrical, mechanical, electronic, and diagnostic skills, together with a professional customer-service approach.The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with commercial coffee equipment and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInstall, commission, test, and calibrate commercial and automatic coffee machines.Service and repair professional coffee grinders and related beverage equipment.Diagnose complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and control-system faults.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on coffee equipment.Troubleshoot pumps, boilers, valves, heating elements, motors, sensors, flow meters, solenoids, control boards, and other components.Calibrate brewing pressure, water temperature, dosing, grinding, and extraction parameters.Carry out emergency breakdown repairs and minimize equipment downtime.Conduct regular equipment inspections and recommend necessary repairs or component replacements.Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, spare-parts usage, and equipment history.Attend customer sites including cafés, restaurants, hotels, offices, and commercial facilities.Provide customers with technical advice regarding machine operation, cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding technical issues, spare parts, warranties, and equipment support.Support other technicians when/where required.Ensure all work is performed safely, professionally, and according to manufacturer specifications.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial coffee machines and professional coffee grinders.Strong knowledge of commercial espresso machines and automatic/bean-to-cup systems.Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of hydraulic and water systems used in commercial coffee equipment.Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.Professional communication and customer-service skills.Good English communication skills.Willingness to travel to customer locations across Dubai and other Emirates when required.Valid UAE driving license.Experience servicing multiple international coffee-machine brands.Manufacturer training or technical certification.Experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, or specialty coffee operations.Knowledge of coffee extraction, grinder calibration, and beverage-quality standards.Experience supervising or mentoring junior technicians.UAE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSCandidates must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.UAE work experience in coffee equipment, hospitality equipment, or food-service equipment will be an advantage.A valid UAE driving license is preferred due to regular customer-site visits.Candidates should be comfortable working across Dubai and other Emirates when required.Knowledge of UAE workplace health and safety requirements is an advantage.Candidates must be willing to work in commercial kitchens, cafés, hotels, restaurants, offices, and other customer locations.Ability to respond to urgent breakdowns and service requirements when required.
