ResponsibilitiesOrdering green coffee inventory with preferred green bean suppliers Creating and optimising roasting profilesAssist with creating new recipes and blends of coffee when requiredRoasting and fulfilling coffee ordersDe-stoning roasted coffeeAssist with bagging & sealing roasted coffeeSample roasting & cupping new coffeesAssist with delivering coffee ordersAssist with placing/receiving product ordersUtilising Cropster software for roasting, scheduling and order managementOrganise and maintain the roasteryOrganise and maintain the green bean stockClean, protect and maintain all equipmentRequirementsMust have at least 12 months of experience in roastingFamiliarity with roasting machines of different typesRequired 2 years of barista experienceSCA education preferred, but not requiredUnderstanding of food safety practicesExperience in operating Cropster Roasting Intelligence programFamiliarity with Microsoft Word & ExcelSelf-starter attitude, must be creative in staying productiveExcellent time management skillsFluent in EnglishInterest in specialty coffee and growing with a company
