The Coffee Trainer will deliver classroom and practical training sessions on coffee basics, brewing methods, espresso preparation, latte art, and beverage service standards. Responsibilities include developing training materials, demonstrating equipment use, supervising practice sessions, and assessing learner performance. The role involves guiding learners on coffee origins, tasting techniques, hygiene and safety, and customer service best practices. The Coffee Trainer will also support workshop planning, collaborate with other trainers to update content, and provide feedback to continuously improve training programs.Qualifications Strong knowledge of coffee fundamentals, including beans, roasting, brewing methods, espresso extraction, and milk texturing.Experience in barista work or coffee shop operations, with the ability to demonstrate consistent beverage quality and workflow efficiency.Instructional or training skills, including structuring lessons, explaining concepts clearly, and coaching learners with different experience levels.Attention to hygiene, food safety, and equipment maintenance standards within coffee and beverage service environments.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with the training team.Ability to manage groups, organize sessions, and maintain accurate training records and evaluations.Comfort with using basic digital tools for presentations, training documentation, and scheduling.Relevant experience in the beverage or hospitality industry; a certification in barista skills or training is an advantage.
