In this role, the individual oversees daily shift activities, including managing partner deployment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The Coffeehouse Leader coaches and supports partners, provides real-time feedback, and helps build a positive, inclusive team culture focused on exceptional customer service. They handle cash management, inventory checks, and basic administrative tasks, while meeting store performance goals in areas such as sales, customer satisfaction, and compliance. This role also involves resolving customer concerns, modeling Starbucks’ mission and values, and supporting training efforts for new and existing partners.Qualifications Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for diverse customers and partners.Leadership and team management abilities, including coaching, delegation, conflict resolution, and fostering a collaborative store culture.Operational and organizational skills, such as cash handling, inventory awareness, time management, and attention to cleanliness and safety standards.Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to provide constructive feedback.Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and customer concerns calmly and effectively.Previous experience in retail, food service, or a customer-facing role is preferred; prior supervisory or shift-lead experience is an asset.Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities and peak business times.Availability for a flexible full-time schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Proficiency in English; French language skills in Montreal, QC are highly beneficial.
