Aasvaa Innovation Labs | Building Manthaan OSLocation: Jaipur, Rajasthan / Open to relocationExperience: Senior technology leadership experience with a strong track record in AI product development and scalingRole: Full-time, Founding LeadershipAbout Aasvaa Innovation LabsAt Aasvaa Innovation Labs, we're building Manthaan OS, an AI operating system designed to power intelligent, secure, and scalable AI applications for governments and enterprises.Our vision is to build technology that goes beyond AI experimentation and solves real-world problems through intelligent information retrieval, domain-specific AI, automation, and decision support.We're developing AI infrastructure and products that can operate in complex enterprise and government environments, where security, reliability, scalability, and deployment flexibility matter.As we move into our next phase of growth, we're looking for a technology leader who wants to build, own, and scale this vision with us.The OpportunityWe're looking for a Technology Co-Founder & CTO who has built products, led engineering teams, navigated complex technology decisions, and experienced the journey from early-stage product development to scale.This is not a conventional CTO position focused only on managing developers or overseeing technical execution.We're looking for someone who can combine deep technical expertise with product thinking, architectural vision, and entrepreneurial ownership.You will work directly with the Founder & CEO to shape our technology roadmap, strengthen our AI capabilities, build a world-class engineering culture, and take our products from their current stage to the next level.What You'll Own1. Technology Vision & ArchitectureDefine and execute the long-term technology strategy for Manthaan OS and our AI product ecosystem.Design scalable, modular, secure, and production-ready AI systems.Make critical architectural decisions across AI infrastructure, data systems, model orchestration, and application layers.Build technology that can support enterprise and government deployments, including on-premises environments.2. AI Engineering & Product DevelopmentLead the development of production-grade AI systems involving LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, semantic search, vector databases, and multimodal AI.Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical, reliable, and commercially viable products.Improve model performance, inference efficiency, latency, accuracy, and infrastructure costs.Establish robust practices for evaluation, observability, security, and continuous improvement.3. Product Lifecycle & ScalingOwn the complete product lifecycle, from architecture and prototyping to deployment, iteration, and scaling.Work closely with the business team to translate customer requirements into product capabilities.Develop reusable technology components that can power multiple products and use cases.Balance speed of execution with long-term maintainability, reliability, and technical excellence.4. Engineering LeadershipBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.Establish engineering standards, development processes, testing practices, and deployment pipelines.Create a culture of accountability, experimentation, ownership, and rapid execution.Make the right build-versus-buy and technology prioritisation decisions for a growing startup.5. Strategic & Business OwnershipWork directly with the Founder & CEO on company strategy, product direction, and long-term technology differentiation.Participate in enterprise and government technology discussions, product demonstrations, and solution architecture.Contribute to technical due diligence, strategic partnerships, and fundraising discussions.Help build Aasvaa into a technology company with defensible intellectual property and scalable products.Who We're Looking ForWe are particularly interested in individuals who:Have held senior engineering or technology leadership roles in product-focused technology companies.Have experience taking AI or software products from early development to production and, ideally, through significant scaling.Understand the complete product lifecycle, including architecture, development, deployment, customer feedback, optimisation, and iteration.Possess strong hands-on technical depth in AI/ML systems, backend architecture, distributed systems, or AI infrastructure.Can move comfortably between high-level architectural decisions and detailed technical problem-solving.Have built and led engineering teams and know how to establish effective technical processes.Think like product builders and entrepreneurs rather than technology service providers.Can work across multiple technology domains and make sound decisions in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.Are comfortable operating in an early-stage startup where priorities evolve and ownership extends beyond a narrowly defined job description.Experience in enterprise AI, AI infrastructure, SaaS, developer platforms, search and retrieval systems, or regulated technology environments would be particularly valuable.We value demonstrated product-building ability, technical judgement, and ownership over titles or credentials alone.What Makes This Opportunity Different?Build, don't just manage. Help create products, intellectual property, and technology infrastructure with the ambition to solve meaningful problems at scale.Compensation & EquityAasvaa is an early-stage company, and we are looking for a co-founder who is excited about building long-term value.We can offer a modest initial salary, with the possibility of structuring the first six months around deferred compensation.
