Collection Specialist (Bilingual)

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team. This exciting role offers a results-oriented professional the chance to manage the entire collections process, vital for protecting our company's cash flow and financial stability.Key Responsibilities: The Collections Specialist will maintain accurate records of all collection efforts, perform routine reconciliations of customer accounts, resolve billing or payment issues, and generate regular reports for the finance team. This role also assists with month-end closing tasks such as reconciling receivable accounts and making essential journal entries. Additionally, it supports responses to internal and external audit inquiries concerning customer accounts. The role includes generating and analyzing aging reports to identify and escalate high-risk or significantly overdue accounts, and enforcing credit control procedures in line with corporate financial policies. The Collections Specialist will collaborate closely with customer service and finance colleagues to resolve payment-related issues, uphold professional communication standards, and support overall cash flow and compliance goals.QualificationsBilingual fluency required.Candidates should possess strong skills in Debt Collection and Cash Collection, with experience managing overdue accounts and payment arrangements.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Finance principles related to billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation.Relevant experience in a collections, credit control, or accounts receivable role, preferably within consulting or professional services.Minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple cases while meeting deadlines.Proficiency in using Odoo, spreadsheets, and accounting systems. Ability to work on-site in Dubai and collaborate effectively in a diverse, cross-functional team. Previous professional experience in the UAE or GCC region is highly preferred.A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
