The team is driven by a mission to improve employability and enable access to top-paying tech roles for students across India.Role Description The Commerce Mentor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The mentor will guide commerce students through job preparation, including understanding core commerce concepts, building employability skills, and preparing for placements and interviews. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering interactive classroom sessions, conducting doubt-clearing and mentoring discussions, and providing structured feedback on student performance. The role involves designing lesson plans, creating or adapting learning materials, and aligning content with exam and placement requirements. The mentor will also collaborate with other trainers and the academic team to track learner progress, identify learning gaps, and support continuous improvement in training outcomes.QualificationsStrong foundational knowledge in commerce-related subjects such as accounting, finance, business studies, and economics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training students in an academic or coaching institute setting, preferably focused on placement or exam preparation.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage diverse learner groups and facilitate interactive sessions.Skill in designing lesson plans, creating learning materials, and using structured assessment methods to track student progress.Comfort with basic digital tools (presentation software, learning platforms, online resources) to support classroom delivery and student engagement.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Management, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.Strong mentoring mindset, patience, and commitment to learner success, with the ability to motivate and support students from varied backgrounds.Prior exposure to campus placements, competitive exams, or skill development initiatives will be an advantage.
