We run one of Malaysia's largest indoor vertical farms in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, and we design, cost and deliver urban farming systems for corporate and institutional clients. Alongside the builds, we run learning & development and CSR programs with our partners - workshops, apprenticeships, and working farms placed in schools and communities.About the RoleWe're looking for a Commercial Operations Intern (paid) to work directly with the Manager of Commercial & Operations on our farm build projects - the costing, coordination and delivery of farms for commercial clients.This is a role for someone who likes order and likes numbers. You'll help keep several builds moving on schedule and on budget, and you'll see the commercial side of the business up close: how a project gets priced, where the margin actually comes from, and what it takes to turn a client conversation into a working farm.You'll be part of a successful conglomerate while enjoying the perks and adrenaline of a start-up environment.What You'll DoProject ManagementTrack live farm build projects end to end: timelines, milestones, deliverables and dependencies across several concurrent clients.Build and maintain project trackers, status updates and post-project reviews.Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal teams to keep site works, equipment and delivery schedules aligned.Commercial & NumbersPrepare and maintain project costings, bills of quantity and client quotations.Track actual spend against budget, flag variances early, and help work out why they happened.Support pricing and margin analysis on new proposals.Assist with monthly reporting on project performance.Documentation & CoordinationLiaise with finance to move approvals and payments along.Support project handover - as-built documentation, client training materials, and the transition into farm management.What You'll LearnHow a project is priced, costed and made profitable, from first quotation to final handover.How to run a project properly: scope, schedule, budget, stakeholders - and what happens when one of them slips.How commercial, finance, procurement and operations actually work together in a growing business.Who We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.Genuinely organised - you track details without being chased, and you notice when something doesn't add up.Comfortable with numbers.Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and confident across MS Office.Clear written communication - you'll be drafting updates that clients and senior stakeholders read.Prior project coordination or internship experience is a plus, not a requirement.Must have own car and be open to travelling to client sites and farm locations.Internship DetailsPaid internshipDuration: 3 to 6 months (6-month availability preferred)Reports to: Manager, Commercial & Operations
