Commercial & Pricing Coordinator – Air Freight

As our business expands, we are looking for a skilled Commercial and Pricing Coordinator (Air Freight Focus) to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in the company’s success — involving competitive pricing that results from strong negotiation skills, developing reliable vendor relationships, and a deep understanding of the Air Freight and Logistics market.Key Responsibilities:Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends. Manage pricing database.Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with carriers, suppliers, and vendors while ensuring service quality and profitability.Quotation Management: Prepare and analyze Air Freight and Road Freight quotations with accuracy and compliance with customer requests, company profit margins, and key account requirements.Contract Management: Manage contracts with customers, carriers, and suppliers, forecasting revenue and market share based on trends and costs.Market Analysis: Strong understanding of airfreight market dynamics and ability to analyze market rates and pricing trends.Customer & Vendor Relationship: Build strong relationships with customers, offering competitive pricing and value-added services, while developing partnerships with carriers and agents.Internal Coordination: Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with customer needs.Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing and identify market opportunities.Performance Monitoring: Control shipment costs by financial job closing to ensure average profit margins and prevent unapproved expenses.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of pricing agreements and generate reports for management review.Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline pricing processes and save costs.Other ad hoc tasks as required by Management.Qualifications & Experience:Diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or related field.Minimum 3 years’ experience in pricing or commercial roles specifically within Air Freight or Freight Forwarding (Air Freight experience is essential).Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong problem-solving and solution-driven approach.Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.Knowledge of international trade regulations and UAE customs is an advantage.Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.Commercially adept with a proactive mindset.Flexibility required when working with logistics of live animals (equine shipments).Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.Ethical conduct and commitment to confidentiality.If you are a dynamic and results-oriented individual with proven Air Freight pricing experience, we invite you to join our team at Equitrans Logistics in Dubai.The salary and benefits for this position are commensurate with experience.📧 Email your CV to: careers@equitranslogistics.com (Ref: EPC2026-08)
