Apply & track with Apply EdgeJOB OVERVIEW/PURPOSEThe Commercial Analytics Manager reports directly to the General Manager - Sixt, Leasing & Corporate Sales and plays a critical role in supporting the commercial growth of the business through data-driven decision making, pricing strategy and financial analysis. The role is responsible for developing pricing models, commercial strategies and financial business cases across Sixt Rent A Car, Leasing, Limousine and Corporate Sales. Working closely with senior leadership, the role provides analytical insight that supports key business decisions including pricing, funding, fleet investment, product development, lifecycle strategy and future mobility solutions.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCommercial AnalyticsGive leadership confidence in strategic business decisions by building robust, reliable financial models.Uncover commercial opportunities and performance gaps through rigorous analysis of business performance.Give leadership real-time visibility of commercial performance through clear dashboards, reports and executive presentations.Influence senior leadership decisions with credible, data-driven recommendations.Pricing & Product StrategyMaximise yield and competitiveness by developing pricing strategies across Rental, Leasing and Limousine.Enable Sales and Leasing teams to close deals with confidence through accurate EMI calculations and leasing financial models.Grow the commercial offering by developing new mobility products and commercial propositions.Keep pricing competitive and evidence-based by monitoring competitor pricing and market trends.Fleet & Financial AnalysisMaximise fleet profitability by analysing fleet economics and lifecycle performance.Ensure fleet investment decisions are financially sound by building business cases for vehicle purchases, cycling strategies and disposal decisions.Protect commercial returns by evaluating funding structures, residual value assumptions and financing costs.Secure favourable funding terms by supporting negotiations with banking and finance partners.Prevent value loss from reactive disposal decisions by ensuring vehicle cycling and disposal business cases are coordinated with the vehicle remarketing/disposal function (CPO, Purple, and any future centralized routing capability), so disposal timing is set at the cycling decision rather than reactively at the point of disposal.Business ImprovementImprove profitability and reduce operating costs by identifying and driving forward commercial improvement opportunities.Increase commercial efficiency by supporting automation and AI-driven improvements across commercial functions.Drive better commercial outcomes by constructively challenging existing business practices using data and insight.Contribute analytical rigour to strategic projects across the business.ReportingKeep leadership informed with accurate, timely commercial dashboards and KPI reporting.Support confident business planning by developing financial forecasts and scenario modelling.Enable clear executive and board-level decision making through well-constructed reports and presentations.Protect the credibility of commercial reporting by ensuring accuracy and integrity across all outputs.CollaborationEnsure commercial decisions reflect operational reality by partnering closely with Fleet, Rental Operations, Sales, Finance and Corporate Sales.Help the General Manager deliver strategic and commercial priorities through direct analytical support.Strengthen decision-making across the business by providing analytical support to all business lines.Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.Required ExperienceA minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial analytics, pricing, financial modelling or business strategy within the automotive, mobility, leasing or car rental industry.Demonstrated experience developing pricing models and commercial business cases; strong understanding of financial analysis, profitability modelling and commercial decision making; experience producing executive-level reporting and analysis.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related discipline; professional finance or analytics qualifications advantageous.
