seeking a capable and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant / Specialist to support commercial operations, contract administration, procurement activities, cost monitoring, supplier coordination, reporting, and commercial documentation across construction and development projects.The ideal candidate will provide reliable commercial and administrative support from tender and procurement through project execution, variations, payment processes, completion, and final account settlement.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Commercial and Contracts teams in the administration and management of construction projects.Assist with tendering, procurement, quotation requests, bid comparisons, commercial evaluations, and supplier/subcontractor selection.Prepare and maintain commercial documentation including quotations, purchase orders, subcontract documents, commercial correspondence, and approval records.Review supplier and subcontractor quotations for completeness, pricing, scope, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial terms.Prepare comparison sheets, commercial summaries, cost reports, and recommendations for management review.Assist with contract administration, including tracking contractual deliverables, notices, submissions, approvals, and commercial obligations.Maintain accurate commercial registers, including procurement trackers, variation registers, payment trackers, purchase-order registers, subcontractor records, and cost-control records.Support the preparation, review, and tracking of variations, change orders, claims, and other commercial adjustments.Assist with contractor, subcontractor, and supplier payment applications, valuations, invoices, retention, advance payments, and supporting documentation.Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Construction, and other project teams to resolve commercial and administrative matters.Monitor project costs, commitments, purchase orders, variations, invoices, and outstanding commercial items.Assist with budget tracking, cost forecasting, expenditure analysis, and commercial reconciliations.Prepare regular commercial reports, dashboards, trackers, and management summaries covering procurement, costs, payments, variations, commitments, and outstanding actions.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding quotations, invoices, payment documentation, delivery requirements, and commercial queries.Assist in reviewing subcontractor and supplier compliance with agreed commercial terms, documentation requirements, insurance, bonds, warranties, and other obligations.Support the preparation of tender packages, request-for-quotation documents, commercial schedules, scope summaries, and bid evaluation materials.Maintain organized records of contracts, purchase orders, quotations, invoices, correspondence, approvals, variations, and other commercial documentation.Assist with final-account preparation, reconciliation, closeout documentation, and settlement of outstanding commercial matters.Identify commercial discrepancies, cost risks, missing documentation, pricing inconsistencies, and potential areas of cost exposure.Support the implementation and continuous improvement of commercial procedures, templates, controls, and reporting systems.Ensure commercial records and processes comply with internal procedures, project requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable company policies.Provide timely administrative and analytical support to Commercial Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and senior leadership.Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate should have experience in commercial administration, quantity surveying, contracts, procurement, cost control, project administration, or construction-related commercial operations, preferably within construction, engineering, infrastructure, real estate, or other project-based environments.The candidate should demonstrate:Strong understanding of commercial and project-support processes.Experience working with construction contracts, suppliers, subcontractors, purchase orders, quotations, and payment documentation.Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prepare commercial comparisons, reports, trackers, and management summaries.Familiarity with variations, change orders, valuations, invoices, claims, and final accounts.Strong communication and coordination skills when working with internal teams and external suppliers or contractors.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other commercial or project-management systems.Experience with ERP, procurement, cost-control, document-management, or project-management platforms is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced project environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and commercial awareness.Ability to work independently in a fully remote and internationally distributed environment.
