Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial / Business Development professional to drive business growth, develop strategic client relationships, and identify new commercial opportunities within the UAE logistics market.The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant experience in business development, commercial operations, B2B sales, account management, or client management, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, 3PL, last-mile delivery, or supply chain services.The role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable meeting clients across the UAE, understanding logistics and supply chain requirements, developing commercial proposals, negotiating pricing and service terms, and converting opportunities into sustainable and profitable business relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the UAE logistics and supply chain market.Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and commercial opportunities across relevant sectors.Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities.Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, direct outreach, professional networks, and existing business relationships.Build and execute business development plans aligned with revenue, margin, and growth targets.Convert qualified leads into new business while maintaining commercially sustainable margins.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective UAE-based corporate clients.Conduct regular client visits, face-to-face meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions across the UAE.Understand clients’ logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain requirements and propose suitable solutions.Act as a key commercial point of contact for assigned clients and ensure timely resolution of commercial matters.Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, upselling, and repeat business.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, engagement, and retention.Commercial ManagementPrepare quotations, proposals, commercial offers, tenders, and presentations in coordination with relevant internal teams.Develop commercial solutions and pricing proposals based on client requirements, operational feasibility, and target margins.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, SLAs, and commercial conditions within approved company guidelines.Coordinate with operations, finance, procurement, and other functions to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.Monitor sales performance, revenue, margins, collections, and business development activities.Support contract negotiations and ensure commercial commitments are properly documented and communicated.Follow up on outstanding proposals, tenders, negotiations, and potential business opportunities.UAE Logistics Market & Competitor AnalysisMonitor UAE logistics, transportation, warehousing, freight, and supply chain market developments.Identify emerging customer segments, service opportunities, and potential strategic partnerships.Develop an understanding of key UAE business hubs, logistics corridors, free zones, and major commercial sectors relevant to the company’s services.Monitor competitor offerings, pricing trends, service models, and customer requirements.Provide management with regular updates on market conditions, client feedback, competitor activity, and business opportunities.Reporting & CoordinationMaintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client interactions, proposals, tenders, and sales activities through CRM or company systems.Prepare regular business development and sales reports for management.Track progress against individual and departmental revenue, pipeline, and business development targets.Coordinate internally to ensure commitments made to clients are delivered effectively and on time.Qualifications & ExperienceValid UAE driving licence is mandatory, with the ability to travel independently across the UAE for client meetings and business development activities.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.5–7 years of relevant experience in commercial, business development, B2B sales, account management, or a similar role.Prior experience in the UAE logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, 3PL, last-mile delivery, or supply chain industry is strongly preferred.Proven track record of generating new business, managing client relationships, and achieving commercial targets.Experience dealing directly with UAE-based corporate clients and decision-makers is highly preferred.Strong experience in client meetings, presentations, negotiations, tenders, proposals, and commercial discussions.Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.Good understanding of UAE business practices and the local commercial environment.Required Skills &
