Employment Type: Full-timeReporting to: General ManagerRole PurposeThe Commercial Development Manager will take ownership of the commercial growth of NAS ELECTRIC.The role is responsible for leading the sales team, increasing collected sales, improving customer coverage, developing new accounts, strengthening collections, improving sales discipline, supporting marketing activities, and identifying new commercial opportunities.This is a hands-on field-oriented role, not a purely office-based management position.The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with sales representatives, customers, distributors, contractors, projects, and internal departments.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Team ManagementLead, manage, and develop the sales team.Set monthly sales and collection targets for each salesperson and territory.Monitor individual and team performance using clear KPIs.Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives.Identify underperforming salespeople and implement improvement plans.Coach the sales team in customer acquisition, negotiation, closing, and collections.Recommend territory changes, account reallocations, recruitment, or performance actions when required.Ensure disciplined execution of daily and weekly sales activities.Sales GrowthDevelop and execute plans to increase monthly collected sales.Expand sales across retail, distribution, contractor, and project channels.Increase sales from existing customers.Reactivate inactive and low-activity customers.Improve customer coverage in existing and new territories.Identify new sales opportunities and growth areas.Increase the productivity of the existing sales team.New Business DevelopmentIdentify and acquire new retailers, distributors, contractors, project customers, and strategic accounts.Build relationships with key decision-makers.Develop new territories and customer segments.Identify potential distribution partnerships.Support entry into new markets where commercially viable.Collections & Credit DisciplineWork closely with sales representatives and finance to improve collections.Follow up on overdue customer balances.Develop action plans for customers with aging receivables.Reduce overdue receivables and improve cash conversion.Ensure sales representatives remain responsible for following up on collections from their customers.Recommend stopping or limiting credit sales to high-risk or overdue customers.Ensure new sales comply with approved credit policies.Customer ManagementStrengthen relationships with key accounts.Monitor customer activity and purchasing patterns.Identify customers whose purchases have declined or stopped.Resolve commercial issues affecting customer retention.Improve customer service and response times.Develop plans to increase share of wallet from existing customers.Market & Competitor AnalysisMonitor competitor pricing, promotions, products, and market activity.Conduct regular market visits.Identify changes in customer demand.Report emerging market opportunities and threats.Recommend commercial actions based on market intelligence.Pricing & Commercial DisciplineEnsure sales comply with approved pricing and discount policies.Prevent unauthorized discounting.Review major quotations and commercial opportunities.Recommend special pricing only when commercially justified.Ensure discounts are linked to clear commercial value such as volume, payment terms, or strategic account potential.Slow-Moving InventoryWork with management and operations to identify slow-moving and aging inventory.Develop commercial plans and targeted promotions to improve inventory movement.Identify customers and channels suitable for aging products.Support cash-generation initiatives without damaging the company's pricing position or brand.Marketing SupportWork with marketing to develop campaigns that directly support sales.Recommend promotional activities based on market demand.Support product launches and customer campaigns.Evaluate the commercial effectiveness of marketing activities.Ensure marketing activities generate measurable customer and sales opportunities.Reporting & Performance ManagementPrepare clear weekly and monthly reports covering:Sales performance by salesperson.Sales by territory and branch.Collections.Overdue receivables.New customers.Reactivated customers.Customer visits.Sales pipeline.Quotations and opportunities.Key account performance.Slow-moving inventory.Market and competitor activity.Problems requiring management action.Priorities for the following week or month.Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with Finance, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Marketing, and Management.Communicate sales forecasts and expected demand.Identify product availability issues affecting sales.Ensure commercial commitments to customers are operationally achievable.Support continuous improvement of sales and customer-management processes.Qualifications & Experience5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, commercial development, or business development.Experience managing, supervising, or leading salespeople is strongly preferred.Proven experience in field sales, not only office-based or digital sales.Strong experience in customer acquisition and account development.Experience working with credit customers and collections is highly preferred.Ability to manage sales teams using KPIs, CRM systems, and performance reports.Strong negotiation and commercial judgment.Strong analytical skills and ability to work with sales data.Proficiency in Excel or spreadsheets and CRM systems.Ability to prepare clear commercial reports and action plans.Strong communication, follow-up, and leadership skills.Comfortable working under performance targets.Arabic fluency required.Professional English is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Business,
