With a growing portfolio of sector-specific AI products and a core mission to drive IP leadership and talent supremacy world-wide, HUMAIN is engineered for global competitiveness and national distinction.The roleThe role will play a key part in strengthening HUMAIN’s commercial capabilities as the business continues to scale across markets, businesses and customer segments.It will shape standards, governance, tools and ways of working across the commercial lifecycle, supporting consistent, high-quality execution from opportunity through to contract and handover.The scope spans opportunity qualification, bid and proposal management, pricing, deal governance, pipeline management, forecasting, commercial performance and the interfaces between Sales, Finance, Legal, Product and Delivery.You will lead the continued development of HUMAIN’s Commercial Excellence capability, driving greater consistency and effectiveness across commercial practices while preserving the agility required in a fast-growing environment.You will advance opportunity and bid management, including qualification, proposal development, commercial reviews, approval requirements and handover to delivery.You will reinforce pricing and deal discipline through practical approaches to pricing, margin, discounting, commercial risk and deal approvals, working closely with Finance, Legal, Product and business leadership.You will provide clear visibility of commercial performance across pipeline quality, forecasting, conversion, win rates, sales cycle, pricing and margin, enabling timely and informed leadership decisions.As HUMAIN continues to advance its AI-native approach, you will identify and embed opportunities for AI to improve opportunity management, proposal development, pricing, forecasting, analysis and commercial decision-making.Requirements-10+ years of experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, commercial strategy, pricing, deal management or related roles, ideally in technology, cloud, infrastructure, AI, telecoms or another complex B2B environment.-Proven experience building or materially scaling a Commercial Excellence function, including its operating model, governance, processes and team.-Strong understanding of the full B2B commercial lifecycle, from pipeline and qualification through pricing, approvals, contracting and handover to delivery.-Deep experience in commercial governance, bid management, pricing and deal structuring, with the judgement to balance discipline, speed and customer responsiveness.-Experience defining commercial performance frameworks covering pipeline, forecasting, conversion, win rates, sales cycle, pricing and margin.-Strong commercial and financial judgement, with the ability to challenge assumptions, assess deal economics and identify commercial risk.-Demonstrated ability to work across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Delivery and senior leadership, aligning different priorities around clear commercial decisions.-Proven team-building capability, including hiring, developing and leading high-performing commercial teams.-Strong executive communication and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear recommendations and practical solutions.-Strong AI fluency, with a clear view of how AI can materially improve commercial processes, decision-making and productivity.-Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
