A well-established business law firm in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to handle sophisticated commercial disputes for a diverse client base.Responsibilities:Manage all phases of business litigation matters, from pre-suit through trial, including case strategy, discovery, motions practice, and settlement negotiationsRepresent clients in disputes involving contracts, partnerships, shareholder issues, business torts, and related commercial mattersDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documentsConduct depositions and represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and arbitrationsManage client relationships and provide strategic counsel on litigation risk and business objectivesCollaborate with partners and associates on case strategy and staffingMentor junior associates as neededQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Maryland5+ years of business litigation experience at a law firmStrong background in commercial litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, and related mattersExcellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsProven ability to manage a caseload independentlyStrong interpersonal and client management skillsPortable book of business a plus but not requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefits packageCollaborative, supportive firm cultureOpportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value mattersProfessional development and growth opportunitiesThe annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000.
