Commercial Litigation/International Arbitration Senior Associate

A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Managing Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team in Dubai.The practice handles high-value cross-border litigation, international arbitration, digital assets, enforcement matters and strategically significant disputes across the UAE and wider GCC region.The team advises corporates, UHNWIs, family offices, financial institutions and sovereign-linked entities on sensitive disputes, often involving parallel proceedings across multiple jurisdictions.The OpportunityThis is a varied and high-profile opportunity for a senior disputes lawyer to develop their career within a leading international practice.The successful candidate will have a clear commitment to dispute resolution and the ambition to build a long-term career in the region.The role involves day-to-day ownership of significant disputes and workstreams, supervising junior lawyers, coordinating counsel and experts, and working directly with clients.Candidate ProfileApplicants must be qualified solicitors or barristers with at least six years’ post-qualification experience or equivalent call.Experience gained within a leading international dispute resolution practice or recognised chambers.Strong commercial litigation experience, ideally including substantial court proceedings; international arbitration experience is desirable.A demonstrable commitment to complex litigation and dispute resolution.Existing Middle East experience is preferred but not essential.The ability to take ownership of complex matters, manage competing priorities and project-manage effectively.Excellent written, analytical, advocacy and interpersonal skills.Strong client-care skills and the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels.A collaborative, resilient and commercially minded approach.The ability to supervise junior lawyers and work independently when required.A proactive approach to business development and professional growth.For a confidential discussion or to express interest, please apply or get in touch directly.
