The Commercial Manager will oversee commercial activities for building projects, including contract negotiation, cost control, and monitoring project profitability. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing commercial proposals, managing contracts and variations, analyzing financial performance, and supporting business planning for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, finance, and procurement teams to ensure that commercial strategies align with operational objectives and regulatory requirements. The Commercial Manager will also lead commercial reporting, support risk management, and contribute to continuous improvement in commercial processes and standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills, including experience with construction contracts and commercial negotiation.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.Candidates should possess effective Team Management and stakeholder coordination skills to lead commercial functions across multiple projects.Relevant experience in building or construction projects in a commercial or contract management capacity is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, finance, or a related field is preferred.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and commercial documentation.Knowledge of UAE construction industry practices, local regulations, and standard forms of contract is an advantage.Proficiency in MS Office and relevant project or commercial management software.
