Commercial Manager

Are you a senior commercial executive with prior experience working in the energy division (oil and gas) as a project manager and developed business development skills including forecasting, tendering etc.?This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global shipping conglomerate to help them develop new commercial avenues within the oil and energy space including project chartering, feasibility studies on new projects/conversions etc.Job responsibilities:Develop and expand business opportunities for Group’s Energy Division in Singapore and Asia/Oceania region.Represent Group’s Energy Division and cultivate strong business relationships with both existing and prospective clients in Singapore and Asia/Oceania region.To engage with external and internal stakeholders and coordinate our existing business including shipping commercial/operation and take the lead our new project as the project manager.Providing guidance, support and mentorship to the Group’s local staff in countries in Asia/Oceania region, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment to achieve business objectives.Collect and analyze intelligence on energy policies and situations in Asia/Oceania region, and regularly report findings to relevant stakeholders .Fulfill any additional or ad hoc duties as required to meet the evolving needs of the business.Basic requirements:Degree in Maritime Studies or related field preferred.Strong network of oil majors and energy players will be a plusExpertise in vessel owning, managing, chartering and operating for any type of vessels.Experience in project management and demonstrated leadership skills in implementing projects, including the assistant role.Business experience in energy supply chain (Preferable).Basic knowledge of accounting principles, ship financing and cashflow analysis.Strong team player with transparent working style and willingness to take ownership of opportunities and be involved in all aspects of the job.What's on offer:Work, life balance.Engaging workplace environment.Opportunities for enhanced learning.Competitive salary package and good benefits.Yearly performance & variable bonus.
