Commercial ManagerPoullaides Group of Companies is seeking an ambitious, commercially astute and forward-thinking leader to join our leadership team as a Commercial Manager within Poullaides Construction Company, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.This is not a traditional “back-office” commercial role. We are looking for a strategicbusiness leader who can help drive growth, strengthen commercial performance, protectthe business contractually, and build a modern commercial function across our operations— primarily with PCC Saudi Arabia alongside our Bahrain operations.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business,influencing major commercial decisions, leading high-value negotiations, improving projectprofitability, mentoring teams, and supporting the next phase of PCC’s growth across theGCC. About Poullaides Construction CompanyPoullaides Construction Company (PCC) is an established regional contractor with a strongtrack record delivering industrial and utilities projects across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain’s operations.PCC operates at a scale where leadership decisions have direct and meaningful impact onproject outcomes and business performance.The Group is in an active phase of growth — expanding its footprint across the GCC,pursuing larger and more complex contracts, and investing in the commercial andoperational capability needed to support that ambition. This is a business where the rightleader will have genuine influence, not simply manage a function.The Opportunity• This role forms part of the leadership team and will work closely with ExecutiveDirectors, Project Directors, Tendering and Procurement teams, and Accounts.• The position will oversee all commercial and contractual functions across the projectlifecycle — from tender strategy and risk management through to claims, disputeavoidance, project delivery, final account settlement, and commercial governance.• The ideal candidate is commercially strong, contractually experienced, operationallyaware, and capable of leading both people and change. Key Responsibilities – Strategic Leadership• Lead and develop the Group’s commercial strategy across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain’s operations.• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chairman and Managing Director on commercial,contractual, and business risk matters.• Build a modern, high-performing commercial function aligned with the Group’s growthambitions.• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, commercial awareness, and continuousimprovement.• Mentor and develop colleagues, such as Quantity Surveyors, and project commercialteams. Commercial & Contractual Management• Lead all major commercial and contractual matters across projects and tenders.• Oversee contract reviews, risk assessments, qualifications, and negotiation strategiesprior to contract execution.• Ensure robust management of variations, claims and EOT submissions, loss & expenseclaims, final accounts, payment recovery, commercial correspondence, and disputeavoidance/resolution.• Provide strategic direction on complex contractual issues, including FIDIC and bespokeforms of contract.• Protect the business from contractual and commercial exposure while supportingproject delivery teams in achieving commercial success. Project & Operational Support• Partner with Project Directors to improve project profitability and commercialoutcomes.• Drive improved cost reporting, forecasting, productivity tracking, and CVR processes.• Support procurement and subcontract strategy to ensure commercial alignment andrisk mitigation.• Identify opportunities for value engineering, commercial optimisation, and operationalefficiencies. Business Growth & Tendering• Support strategic tender reviews and bid/no-bid decisions.• Lead commercial input into major tenders, negotiations, and pre-contract discussions.• Help position the business competitively while maintaining commercial discipline.• Contribute to expansion initiatives and strategic growth opportunities across the GCC.Governance & Systems• Improve commercial systems, reporting structures, controls, and processes across theGroup.• Support the implementation of data-driven commercial management and performancemonitoring.• Promote best practice commercial management across all business units. What We Are Looking For• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Law, ora related discipline.• 10+ years of experience within the construction or infrastructure sector.• Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role within the GCC region.• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims management, contractadministration, commercial strategy, and final account negotiation.• Experience managing large-scale building and infrastructure projects.• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.• Commercially strategic with strong business acumen and operational awareness. Highly Desirable• Experience operating across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.• Experience building or transforming commercial teams and systems.• Familiarity with large-scale industrial, infrastructure, utilities, or complex constructionprojects.• MRICS, MSc Construction Law, or equivalent professional accreditation.• Bilingual in Arabic and English, with strong written and spoken fluency in both languages. Why Join Poullaides Group?• Join a respected and growing regional contractor with an entrepreneurial culture.• Become part of the leadership team and directly influence business strategy.• Lead meaningful commercial transformation and improvement initiatives.• Work on landmark projects across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.• Build and mentor the next generation of commercial professionals.• Play a key role in shaping the future growth of the Group.Location• Primarily based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with regular involvement across Bahrain and wider GCC operations, when needed. How to Apply• Interested candidates are invited to apply via LinkedIn with a CV and brief cover letter outlining their relevant experience and leadership background.• Submit to: info@poullaides.com• Subject: Commercial Manager Position at PCC Arabia
