As a trusted partner to some of the region’s most ambitious projects, we value innovation, operational excellence, and our people.Your RoleReporting to the Head of Commercial, you will lead the commercial management of assigned projects, ensuring effective cost control, accurate reporting, robust contract administration, and compliance with the company’s commercial governance requirements.You will provide commercial leadership and strategic advice to project teams while managing valuations, variations, claims, subcontract accounts, negotiations, and final account settlements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial performance of assigned projects, protecting margin and cash flow.Lead valuation, certification, and payment processes to maximize recovery.Manage variations, contractual notices, and claims, ensuring records and substantiation are complete and accurate.Oversee subcontract procurement, administration, and final account settlement.Ensure CVA and cost-value reporting is accurate, timely, and clearly understood by project teams.Lead commercial negotiations with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors.Manage final accounts through to close-out, including the recovery of retention and outstanding contractual entitlements.Advise project leadership on contractual risks, obligations, commercial strategy, and dispute avoidance.Establish and maintain commercial standards, procedures, and governance requirements.Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project and business requirements.Develop the capability of commercial team members and manage workload allocation.Ensure compliance with delegated authorities and company commercial governance.Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and deliver measurable efficiencies.Promote ESG practices and support compliance with the company’s sustainability and corporate responsibility objectives.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management or quantity surveying within the MEP contracting or construction sector.Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based contract administration, valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.Demonstrated experience in subcontract procurement, administration, and account settlement.Strong understanding of CVA, cost-value reporting, margin protection, and cash-flow management.Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and advise project teams on contractual risks and commercial strategy.Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.RICS or CIOB membership would be advantageous.What We OfferThe chance to contribute to some of the UAE's most iconic projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Ready to drive commercial success?If you have the commercial expertise to protect project margins, manage contractual risks, and deliver strong commercial outcomes from project commencement through to final account, we want to hear from you.Apply today and be part of something exceptional.Please note we encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as this advert may close once we’ve found the right candidate.
