Commercial ManagerLocation: Abu DhabiEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Oil & Gas / EnergyAbout the OpportunityWe are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading engineering and construction organisation delivering major projects across the Middle East. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional to take ownership of all contractual and commercial aspects of a significant project, supporting successful delivery while protecting commercial interests and maximising project value.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all commercial and contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle.Manage valuations, invoicing, payment applications and commercial reporting.Oversee project cost control, forecasting and financial performance.Manage and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals.Administer contracts and provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams.Lead subcontract management activities, including evaluation, administration and commercial reviews.Manage claims, variations, entitlement preservation and dispute avoidance strategies.Review and draft contractual terms and conditions as required.Maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.Candidate RequirementsMinimum 15 years' experience in commercial management, quantity surveying or contract administration within large-scale construction or engineering projects.Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Professional membership or affiliation with RICS, IQS, MICES, MCIOB or equivalent is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of FIDIC, ICE and other recognised contract forms.Proven experience managing commercial teams on multidisciplinary construction projects.Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong commercial acumen with a track record of protecting contractual entitlement and maximising project revenue.What's on OfferOpportunity to work on high-profile projects.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career development with a respected industry leader.Collaborative and professional working environment.ApplyIf you are an experienced Commercial Manager seeking your next challenge and have a strong background in construction contracts, commercial management and project delivery, we would like to hear from you.All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
