As a trusted IT consulting partner, Dautom is supporting their strategic initiatives by connecting them with exceptional talent to drive business growth and transformation.Job Role: Commercial ManagerWork Location: DubaiNotice Period: Immediate – 30 DaysRole SummaryThe Commercial Manager owns the end-to-end commercial performance of our projects, from tender and budget through contract award, delivery, final account and close-out. The role leads contract administration, vendor management and cost control to protect margin and minimise risk.Key ResponsibilitiesContracts: Negotiate and administer client contracts and subcontracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT or equivalent), including variations, extensions of time, claims and dispute resolution.Costing and budgeting: Prepare and review cost plans, BOQs and tender pricing; track committed, certified and actual costs; issue monthly cost-to-complete, cash flow and risk reports.Vendor management: Lead procurement, bid evaluation, negotiation and award of subcontract and supply packages; pre-qualify and evaluate vendors; manage payments, back-charges and final accounts.Financial control: Manage valuations, invoicing and collections; certify payments; support WIP reporting and audits.Leadership: Lead the commercial team, advise senior management on commercial strategy and risk, and represent the company with clients and consultants.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate or a related field.10+ years of end-to-end commercial experience (tender to final account) in construction, real estate or engineering.Strong record in contract negotiation and administration, claims and variations.Proven vendor and subcontractor management and procurement experience.Deep experience in estimating, cost planning and cost control on medium to large projects.Preferred: RICS, CIOB, AACE or PMP membership; MBA; ERP and cost systems experience (SAP, Primavera, CostX or similar).About DautomDautom is a globally recognized IT consulting and technology services organization committed to enabling digital transformation through innovation, expertise, and a people-centric approach.We partner with leading organizations across industries to accelerate business growth by delivering exceptional talent, strategic IT consulting services, and innovative technology solutions.
