Commercial Officer / Manager - NV1

Talent Mode’s Canberra based defence focussed consultancy client are urgently seeking an experienced Canberra based Commercial Officer / Manager to support commercial, procurement and contract management activities for a major program. Permanent engagement preferred however contract also considered NV1 Security Clearance Required$180k to $230k+ package – negotiable based on experience and fitAlso Potentially contract for the right candidateStart ASAPCanberraKey experience:Strong understanding of CPRs, commercial principles and performance frameworks in Defence/Commonwealth procurementExperience in contract management, ideally within ASDEFCON environmentsBackground supporting complex procurement activities, including drafting SOW/SOR and evaluating responsesSkilled in preparing commercially sensitive reports, submissions and contract change documentationComfortable working within complex stakeholder systemsProven commercial acumen and relationship‑building capabilityPreferred qualifications and background Qualifications in Contract Management, Procurement or related discipline8+ years’ experience in commercial or contract managementCurrent security clearanceExperience reviewing complex ASDEFCON procurement documentation
