Commercial Senior Specialist

Job PurposeSupport commercial management, cost control, procurement, tendering, and risk management across project development, ensuring value, quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze drawings, quantities, BOQs, costs, materials, and finishes.Prepare estimates, tender documents, RFQs, and commercial evaluations.Compare technical and commercial proposals.Analyze market prices and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.Identify cost-saving opportunities and suitable alternatives.Support procurement, contracts, risk management, and budget monitoring.Coordinate with design, procurement, finance, and project teams.Maintain commercial records and provide recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial management, cost control, procurement, quantity surveying, or project development.Experience in real estate development or construction is preferred.Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contracts, materials, and finishes.Ability to read drawings and assess quantities, costs, and risks.Experience across the project lifecycle, from design and tendering to procurement and execution.Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Arabic and English proficiency preferred.
