The Specialist reviews commercial implications, advises on tender documentation and pricing, assesses bids for compliance, monitors contract adherence, and supports post-tender assessments to protect organization's financial interests.ResponsibilitiesProvide commercial advisory support during negotiations, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives.Review commercial implications of business decisions made by Business Development, highlighting risks and opportunities that may impact partnership agreements.Provide input for tender documentation, ensuring that terms and pricing reflect organization's financial goals and market conditions.Assist in evaluating bids, focusing on commercial terms to ensure compliance with organization's pricing and strategic requirements.Advise on commercial T&Cs for partnerships, providing input on pricing, financial structures, and payment terms to ensure compliance and mutual benefits.Monitor contract compliance from a commercial perspective, advising Business Development on any adjustments or amendments needed to maintain alignment with organization's goals.Provide input for quarterly and strategic reports, offering insights on commercial progress, financial performance, and partnership alignment with organization's objectives.Provide post-tender support by assessing contract performance from a commercial standpoint, ensuring organization's financial interests are upheld throughout the contract lifecycle.Analyze market trends and pricing structures, providing insights to Business Development to guide future commercial strategies and partnership decisions.QualificationsEducation and training: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial marketing or related fields from an accredited university; a Master’s degree in business studies is preferred.Required SkillsMinimum of 10 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry.Good knowledge in broad aspects of the oil and gas business, such as operations, project management, technical services, operations supply chain management, and planning.
