The brand focuses on quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing, offering opportunities to work within a socially responsible and globally recognized coffee company.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commie Bakery role based in Bandra. The team member will assist in daily bakery operations, including preparing doughs and batters, baking bread and cookies, and ensuring consistent product quality. Responsibilities include measuring and mixing ingredients, monitoring baking times and temperatures, following standardized recipes, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area. The role involves coordinating with the kitchen and café teams to meet production schedules, support new product trials, and manage inventory of baking supplies. The Commie Bakery professional will also adhere to food safety standards and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with ARAKU’s values.Qualifications Foundational bakery skills with experience in Bakery and Baking, including working with ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment.Proficiency in Food Preparation, with the ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately, and maintain high hygiene standards.Hands-on experience in producing Cookies and Bread, ensuring consistency in texture, flavor, and appearance.Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting.Ability to work on-site in Bandra, manage time effectively, and support peak-hour production demands.Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn and adapt to ARAKU’s quality and sustainability standards.Previous experience in a bakery, café, or culinary environment is preferred; formal training in baking or culinary arts is an advantage.
