The business offers opportunities to learn about jewelry products, repair techniques, and customer care in a retail environment.Role Description The Commission Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Conakry. The associate will greet customers, understand their needs, and present suitable jewelry products and repair services, aiming to close sales on a commission basis. Daily tasks include explaining product features and pricing, processing transactions, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate sales records. The role also involves keeping displays organized, monitoring inventory on the sales floor, and coordinating with repair staff to track service orders. The associate will handle customer inquiries, manage after-sales follow-up where needed, and support promotional activities to increase store traffic and revenue.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with a diverse range of clients.Basic sales and negotiation abilities, including comfort working on a commission structure and meeting sales targets.Attention to detail and basic numeracy for handling cash, card payments, and accurate documentation of sales and repair orders.Interest in jewelry products and willingness to learn about materials, quality, and common repair services.Reliability and professional conduct, including punctuality, adherence to store policies, and respect for colleagues and customers.Ability to work on-site full-time in Conakry, including weekends or peak hours as required by the business.Prior experience in retail, jewelry, or commission-based sales is an advantage but not required; training may be provided.
