Commissioning / Cx Engineers – Data Centre | DublinROSS Cx is hiring experienced Commissioning / Cx Engineers to join our growing team on a major data centre project in Dublin.ROSS Cx supports major data centre and mission-critical projects across Ireland and EMEA, delivering end-to-end commissioning across electrical, mechanical and management disciplines. We work closely with contractors and clients to deliver critical infrastructure safely, efficiently and to a high standard.We’re building a long-term team in Ireland, backed by a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work across Ireland and Europe. For the right person, that means real stability, clear career progression and the chance to move between projects as the portfolio grows.It’s a strong opportunity for a technically sharp, detail-focused engineer who wants to join a close-knit team and build their commissioning experience on one of the most demanding project types in the industry.What you’ll be doingSupporting end-to-end commissioning across mechanical and electrical systems on a large-scale data centre projectCarrying out factory witness testing (FWT), benchmarking and document reviews, and keeping the issues resolution log (IRL) and schedules up to dateReviewing drawings, specifications and test procedures to make sure installations meet design intent and client requirementsCompleting and maintaining commissioning documentation including ITPs, test records, punch lists and as-built reportsSupporting QA/QC installation checks and start-up through to functional performance testingCoordinating with trade contractors, equipment vendors and the wider commissioning team to keep activities on programmeIdentifying and reporting deficiencies, tracking them to close-out and escalating where neededMaking sure all commissioning work follows site safety and quality requirementsSupporting handover documentation and O&M records for client acceptanceWhat we’re looking forDegree or trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience2 - 8 years in a commissioning, QA/QC or field engineering role on data centre or mission-critical projectsElectrically or mechanically biased, and keen to build cross-discipline knowledgeGood understanding of HV/LV distribution, HVAC, chilled water, UPS and critical power systemsStrong documentation and reporting habitsA team player who’s comfortable in a fast-paced, technically demanding environmentConfident dealing with contractors, clients and management teamsInterested?For a confidential chat, call Darren on 087 7666213 or send your CV to darren.faughnan@ross-es.com
