Join us in shaping your career, where ambition is realised, teamwork is at our core and success is celebrated.Currently we are looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning delivery of a state-of-the-art sustainable Data Centre project in Norway. Working on behalf of the General Contractor, the successful candidate will manage all commissioning activities from design review through integrated systems testing and final handover, ensuring the facility is delivered safely, reliably, and in line with client requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and manage the overall commissioning strategy, programme, and execution plan.Lead commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and integrated systems.Review designs with the client, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure systems are operable, maintainable, and fully testable.Develop commissioning plans, test scripts, procedures, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) protocols.Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), functional performance testing (FPT), and IST activities.Manage commissioning teams, specialist vendors, and subcontractors.Coordinate client witness testing and final handover activities.Ensure all commissioning documentation, reports, and turnover packages are completed to the highest standard.AuthorityYou have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.Requirements5+ years' experience in commissioning mission-critical facilities.Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager on large-scale data centre projects.Strong experience in both mechanical and electrical commissioning.Demonstrated experience developing commissioning scripts, procedures, and testing methodologies.Experience leading Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and system validation programmes.Extensive client-facing experience, including design reviews and technical workshops.Experience working for a General Contractor, EPC contractor, or major commissioning providerTechnical RequirementsDirect Liquid Cooling (DLC) and liquid-to-chip cooling systems.Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and chilled water systems.HVAC and heat rejection systems.UPS, generators, MV/HV electrical systems, and critical power infrastructure.BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and integrated controls systems.Data centre resiliency and failover testingAt Atlantach we offer a highly competitive benefits package, Competitive salary and holiday entitlements.Flexible hours and remote working options; role dependant.Pension Scheme & Healthcare optionsEmployee engagement activitiesAtlantach Technical Services is an Equal Opportunities Employer
